The Lubombo Regional Education Office is pleased to announce the expansion of the School Feeding Programme to an additional 25 schools across the region. This expansion, supported by the World Food Programme and the Government of Eswatini, will ensure that more learners have access to nutritious daily meals, which are essential for effective learning.

The School Feeding Programme currently serves over 80 schools in the Lubombo region, providing breakfast and lunch to thousands of learners each school day. Research has consistently shown that adequate nutrition significantly improves learner concentration, attendance, and academic performance.

School principals in newly included schools will receive training on programme implementation and management. Parent-teacher associations are encouraged to support the programme through community contributions and volunteer involvement.
